| As you should now be aware, the new launch date for Single Stock Futures with OneChicago is November 8, 2002. As a result, we will continue with Saturday end-to-end testing and limited weekday trade injection testing. Please refer to the test plan on OneChicagos website for complete information, regarding the testing schedule and requirements. Mandatory Testing for CME Firms CME clearing members are still required to test if they are going to post-trade process (PTP) OR clear at the CME. This Saturday October 26, 2002, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, is the next scheduled ONE - SSF test. (Trading is 9:00 a.m -12:00 noon) To ensure that your firm will be ready, please be aware of the following: NOTE: We will be unable to make ANY security changes or additions on Saturday. Also, please make sure that participating firm staff, ALREADY know how to log-on and use these applications. Due to limited staffing resources, we will not have resources to help with set-up and training over the phone during this critical test. TREX Messages Please Notify Us in Advance Lastly, it is extremely important that you provide us with confirmation that you want to receive TREX messages for both trades and/or GUS API. This request must be sent via e-mail to sjurek@cme.com or kmccoy@cme.com by 12:00 noon, Thursday, October 24, 2002. Failure to send this information, will result in TREX messages not being created for your firm(s). Please be sure to include your firm(s) MQM test channel name i.e., EE05, list all related firm numbers and a staff contact name, and number. Check Your MQM Queue Status Before the Testing Begins To avoid any problems with accessing your test messages on Saturday or the following Monday, we strongly recommend that your IT department verify that your test queue is up and available. We encourage you to do a MQM ping test to your test queue with the CME, before Saturday. This can be arranged by Client Management Operations staff. Saturday FirmLine Updates We will be placing messages on FirmLine (312 454-8989) during testing, should there be any schedule adjustments or items of note. Thank you for your participation! |
